- the ability to work alone and stay on task
- good communication skills for dealing with clients
- care and attention when handling chemicals
What will you learn?
You learn to choose the right method and products for each surface and situation, work safely around other people, follow infection prevention and control procedures, and keep equipment and chemicals stored properly. Cleaners often work alone or with light supervision, so the course also builds the judgement to plan a job and deal with clients and members of the public directly. It suits someone already working in cleaning who wants their skills recognised, or a new starter coming in through a traineeship.
