- good hand skills for cutting and shaping glass

What will you learn?
The trade covers everything from measuring and cutting a pane to installing windows and glazed units in homes and commercial buildings. Alongside the practical work you pick up first aid, workplace communication, teamwork and environmentally sustainable work practices, since glass handling carries real safety risks. Glazing work needs a licence in Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia, so check your state's rules before you start.
