What will you learn?

You learn to draw out what a couple or family wants, research and write a ceremony that fits, then present it on the day and review how it went. Most celebrants are self-employed, so the course also covers the business side: building a sustainable practice, working legally and ethically, and dealing with clients from many different backgrounds. Choosing the marriage electives adds the specific legal duties that come with being registered to marry people in Australia.
