What will you learn?

You learn to inspect and start a locomotive or train, read signals and trackside signs, keep in contact with network control, and apply safeworking rules for the route you are driving. Safety critical communication, fatigue management and responding to faults and emergencies run through the whole course. Most people complete the training through a rail operator while working, because the practical assessments need real trains and track.
