Complementary health courses
Want to work in complementary health? These courses cover chiropractic, Chinese medicine, acupuncture and naturopathy. Each one is a long course of study, and for chiropractic and Chinese medicine, finishing it is one step towards being able to practise.
Other university courses
- Bachelor of Chiropractic Science3 years. The first stage of chiropractic training, covering the spine, muscles and nerves. You need a master program after it to register.
- Bachelor of Health Science (Chinese Medicine)4 years. Trains you in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, with supervised clinical practice. It leads towards registration as a Chinese medicine practitioner.
- Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy)4 years. Covers herbal, nutritional and lifestyle approaches to health, with clinical assessment and supervised practice.
- Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine4 years. Chinese medicine theory and practice alongside biomedical science, including acupuncture, herbal medicine and clinical practice.
