What will you learn?

You learn to operate dry cleaning machines safely, handle chemicals and solvents correctly, and deal with garments that need special treatment beyond a standard clean. The course also covers the parts of the job that involve other people: workplace safety, environmentally sustainable work practices and communication, including some supervision of staff. It suits someone already working in a laundry or dry cleaning shop who wants to take on more skilled and varied work, and no previous qualification is required to start.
