What will you learn?
You learn how to research and present commentary that holds a group's attention, read the crowd and adjust as you go, and handle the customer service side of the job, from greeting people to dealing with complaints. Safety runs through the whole course: first aid, spotting hazards and controlling risks before they become incidents. It suits people who want to work in attractions, cultural and heritage sites, national and marine parks, wineries or on cruise vessels, often with a fair bit of independence on the day.
