  • a practical, caring attitude to animal welfare

What will you learn?

You learn to read what an animal is doing and why, apply learning theory to plan and run training sessions, and design enrichment that supports an animal's welfare. The course also covers assessing wellbeing, keeping yourself and others safe at work, and advising owners and carers on industry rules. It's used across species and settings, including rehoming, rehabilitation and animal-assisted services.

Units of competency (8 core, 8 elective)
