What will you learn?

You learn how to check a patient's condition, deliver basic life support, keep yourself and others safe from infection, and control an emergency scene until more senior help arrives. Communication is a large part of the work, because you deal with frightened patients, worried families and other emergency services at once. The course includes supervised time in a real workplace, where you apply these skills under the guidance of an experienced practitioner.
