Entry requirements

The entry requirement for this qualification is: UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or a current ‘Unrestricted Electricians Licence’ or its equivalent issued in an Australian state or territory.

What will you learn?

You learn to write specifications for electrotechnology projects, compile detailed technical reports for the energy sector, and commission and fault-find advanced electrical equipment. The course also covers the workplace side of the job, including putting work health and safety policies into practice and finding ways to reduce the environmental impact of electrical work. It builds on a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or an unrestricted electricians licence, so it assumes you already have trade experience to draw on.
