What will you learn?

You learn how to design activities that suit each client's needs and interests, including clients with complex needs, and how to lead the staff and volunteers who deliver them. Study covers communication, human development and psychology, physical health checks, workplace safety and evidence based practice, with at least 240 hours of work placement so you build experience alongside the theory. It suits people already working in leisure and lifestyle roles who want to take on coordination or team leader responsibilities.
