What will you learn?
You learn how to support someone's independence and wellbeing, communicate with clients and health professionals, work with people from different backgrounds, and keep yourself and the people you support safe from infection and injury. It also covers the basics of how the body works, which helps you notice changes worth reporting. The course includes at least 120 hours of supervised work placement, so you finish with hands-on experience in a real care setting.
