Entry recommendations
To be prepared for this course, it helps to have:
- an interest in how computers and software work
- patience for troubleshooting problems step by step
- a willingness to keep learning as technology changes
- good communication skills for working with clients and colleagues
What will you learn?
You learn to write basic code, work through client IT problems, understand cyber security risks and handle data privacy and intellectual property properly. There is also a focus on how quickly technology changes, so you get used to assessing new tools and practices rather than learning one fixed set. No prior qualification or experience is needed to enrol.
