Entry recommendations
To be prepared for this course, it helps to have:
- an interest in how goods move from place to place
- a careful approach to safety and legal duties
- clear written communication for procedures and plans
- comfort with planning and adjusting when things change
What will you learn?
You learn how to keep transport activities safe and legally compliant, including the chain of responsibility duties that follow everyone involved in moving goods, and how to write and maintain the procedures staff follow day to day. Planning is a big part of it: choosing equipment, services and providers, and adjusting when something changes. There are no entry requirements, so you can enrol without prior study in the field.
